Jakson Welfare Trust was the brainchild of our founder Shri SK Guptaji and it is a matter of great satisfaction that family members and many Jaksonites passionately commit their time to contribute to the success of our Company’s Philanthropic journey.
Our commitment towards the environment commences with brick & mortar of the infrastructure we have created and does not confine itself to barely afforestation or waste management. This journey started way back in year 2000 when Green Buildings were not much heard of and the cost of creating green infrastructure used to be much higher. However, looking at the long term, we were convinced in the merit of creating an environmentally friendly infrastructure and today we are happy to share that all our investments since the year 2000 were made keeping in mind our commitment to sustainability.
Our Head Quarters in Noida was amongst the first Platinum rated Green Building in Northern India. Our hotel in Phaltan in Maharashtra has been recognised as India’s first Platinum Rated Green Hotel in its category.
We can proudly say that volunteering for CSR activities comes naturally to all members of The Jakson family as it is ingrained in each one of us through our Core Values.
Over the last few years my brother Sundeep and I have been involved in many socially impactful activities which includes visits to schools in rural India, environment protection initiatives, supporting people with disabilities, promoting good health etc to name a few.
I would not hesitate in saying that the satisfaction gained in this Philanthropic journey with objective of well-being of the entire eco system has been simply fulfilling.
It is indeed a source of great pride and satisfaction that we have been able to positively impact thousands of lives, not just through grants & aids but through actual on-ground activities, spearheaded by our employee volunteers and the family.
